Northaw and Cuffley Parish Council

Due to the recent resignation of two Parish Councillors, and the lack of demand from the public for an Election to fill these vacancies, the Council is now inviting local residents to apply to be Co-opted to the Council, in order to fill these vacancies. The period of office will be until the next Election in May 2019.

The deadline for applications is 5-30 p.m. on Monday 23rd April 2018, and those interested should apply in writing, to the Clerk to the Parish Council, including a short résumé with details of any relevant experience and reasons for applying.

For information about the role and responsibilities of Parish Councillors, please contact me at the Parish Council Office, 7 Maynard Place, Cuffley, EN6 4JA, or by E-mail to or telephone 01707-875825.

You may also wish to contact a Parish Councillor to discuss the role, and contact details for Councillors are available on our website:

Applicants will be invited to a Meeting in Public, at 7-30 p.m. on Thursday 26th April, in the small hall in Cuffley Hall, where Members will decide who will be

Co-opted to the Council.

Jason Grocock, Clerk to the Council.     22nd March 2018.
