Due to the recent resignation of a Parish Councillor, and the lack of any demand from the public for an Election to fill this vacancy, the Council is now inviting local residents to apply to be Co-opted to the Council, in order to fill the vacancy. The period of office will be until the next Election in May 2019.

The deadline for applications is 5-30 p.m. on Monday 1st October 2018, and those interested should apply in writing, to the Clerk to the Parish Council, (address below) including a short résumé with details of any relevant experience and reasons for applying.

For information about the role and responsibilities of Parish Councillors, please contact the Parish Council Office, at 7 Maynard Place, Cuffley, EN6 4JA, or by
E-mail to deputy.clerk@northawcuffleypc.org.uk or telephone 01707-875825.
You may also wish to contact a Parish Councillor to discuss the role, and contact details for Councillors are available on our website: www.northawcuffleypc.org.uk

Applicants will be invited to a Meeting in Public, at 7-30 p.m. on Friday 12th October, in Northaw Village Hall, where Members will decide who will be Co-opted to the Council. This meeting will initially be open to the public, but the public may be excluded for the individual presentations by candidates.

Jason Grocock, Clerk to the Council.
