In the absence of the Chairman, the Vice Chairman, Cllr. Burrows took the Chair, and asked if any Member of the public wished to record the Meeting. One person indicated that they wished to record the meeting. The member of the public was made aware of the rules for Recording or Filming Meetings, as agreed by the Council.

Under Agenda Item 17, 10 minutes is allowed for questions from the public, with each questioner being allowed up to 3 minutes. The questioner is not entitled to an immediate response.

20/16       Apologies:

The Clerk reported apologies from Cllrs Stubbs, Pollitt, Dace, Clark and Allgood.

21/16       Declarations of interest:  There were none.

22/16       Minutes of the Annual Council Meeting on 19th May 2016:

Members agreed that the Clerk’s Minutes of the Annual Council Meeting on 19th May 2016, which had been circulated in advance of the Summons for this Meeting, were a correct record of the Meeting.

23/16      Acceptance of the Annual Internal Audit Statement 2015/16:

The Internal Audit Statement for the 2015-16 Accounts of the Parish

Council Accounts was accepted by the Council.

24/16      Approval of Annual Governance Statement 2015/16:

The Annual Governance Statement for the Parish Council for the Financial Year 2015/16 was Approved by the Council and signed by the Vice Chairman.

25/16      Approval of the Annual Accounting Statements 2015/16:

The Annual Accounting Statements for the Parish Council for the Financial Year 2015/16 we Approved by the Council and signed by the Vice Chairman.

26/16      Urgent Business:

Dates of future Meetings. In order to allow for the availability of the Vice Chairman, and Chairman, Members agreed that the planned October Council Meeting would be moved forward one week from Thursday 13th to Thursday 20th October 2016, and in order that the Policy and Resources Committee was no too far in advance of the next Council Meeting, the planned September Meeting would be moved back Wednesday 12th October 2016.

27/16      Questions from the Public:

The Member of the Public present asked if there had been any effect of the policy of introducing more single Yellow Lines in Cuffley. The

Clerk confirmed that there had been no increase in the use of the Council Pay and Display Car Parks, and if anything there had been a reduction in recent weeks, and there had been no effect so far on the KGV car parks.

There were no other questions from the public.

As there was no further business, the Vice Chairman declared the meeting closed at 7-15 p.m.
